New York High School Baseball - Minisink Valley holds off Cornwall Central

In Wednesday's league game, the host Minisink Valley Warriors baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Cornwall Central Dragons.

The Warriors (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings go into the Section 9 Orange County II game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Valley Central was overwhelmed by Warwick (Warwick, NY), 11-10, in a league game.

Next, the Dragons play the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II game, on Friday, May 2. Cornwall Central will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 25-1 league loss to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY).
