The Southeast Pirates (Ravenna, OH) baseball trounced the host East (Youngstown, OH), 10-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaBrae for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey challenge on Saturday, May 3. Southeast will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, East drops to 5-11 on the year. The travel to Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Western Reserve won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)
