The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) and the visiting Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY), saw Leslie County's baseball team knock off Lee County by a count of 14-7.

The Eagles now own a 5-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlan for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. Leslie County will clash with a Green Dragons team coming off a 8-3 league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons record now stands at 11-7.

With the defeat, Lee County drops to 5-11 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Rockcastle County lost 21-11 in their recent league challenge against Somerset (Somerset, KY)
