Indiana High School Baseball - Northwestern wallops Southwood

The Northwestern Tigers baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Southwood Knights to 0 in the Tigers league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now hold a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kokomo for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Northwestern will play a Wildkats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Wildkats record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Southwood drops to 0-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Whitko (South Whitley, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Three Rivers test on Monday, May 5. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-4.
