The Oxford Pirates baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Southbridge Pioneers to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett for a South Worcester County - Central test on Monday, May 5. Oxford will clash with a Indians team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA). The Indians record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Southbridge drops to 4-3 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Leicester (Leicester, MA) to clash with the Wolverines in a South Worcester County - West test on Friday, May 2. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 1-7. Leicester lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Millbury (Millbury, MA)
