In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Howell Rebels.
The Lancers (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ). The Green Wave come into the Shore - B North challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Long Branch beat Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rebels play the Christian Brothers Academy Colts (Lincroft, NJ) in a Shore - A North challenge, on Monday, May 5. Howell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
