In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers.
The Fighting Irish (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Walsh Jesuit lost by Jackson (Massillon, OH), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers play the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Western Reserve Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH).
