The Buckeye Valley Barons lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Newark Wildcats to 4 in the Barons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Barons now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wellington School for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. Buckeye Valley will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to Columbus School for Girls (Columbus, OH). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Newark falls to 2-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-7. Big Walnut lost 15-12 in their recent non-league outing against Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH)
