In Wednesday's league test, the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), by a count of 16-11.
Next up, the Huguenots battle the Roosevelt Presidents (Hyde Park, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. New Paltz will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Presidents enter the test with a 9-2 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Rondout Valley (Accord, NY).
The Sawyers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Monroe-Woodbury was overwhelmed by Rondout Valley (Accord, NY), 14-13, in a non-league test.
