The Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer team (Fort Mill, SC), was tipped 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league match with the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC)
With the triumph, South Point moves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Huss (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Huskies in a Big South 3A match on Friday, May 2. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 2-10. Huss lost 5-0 in their recent league match against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC)
The Copperheads now sport a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Clover for a AAAAA Region 3 match on Thursday, May 1. Catawba Ridge will meet a Blue Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 12-7.
