The Roosevelt Bears soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Taylor Griffins to 0 in the Bears league victory on Wednesday.

The Bears now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fordson for a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. Roosevelt will play a Tractors squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Glenn (Westland, MI). The Tractors record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Taylor moves to 1-8 on the year. The Griffins host Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Flat Rock lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Monroe, MI)
