The Bloomington Purple Raiders baseball squad (Bloomington, IL), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL)
With the triumph, Mt. Zion moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Braves travel to Charleston (Charleston, IL) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 2-0.
The Purple Raiders now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, May 5.
