The Salida Spartans (Salida, CO) baseball trounced the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Woodland Park for a challenge on Tuesday, May 6.
With the defeat, Platte Canyon drops to 5-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to clash with the Golddiggers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. The Golddiggers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
