The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) and the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), saw Silver's baseball team beat Socorro by a margin of 11-5.

The Fighting Colts (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Chaparral was overwhelmed by Silver (Silver City, NM), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
