Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI), 17-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Cadillac improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Oilers in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Oilers enter the game with a record of 0-1.
The Northmen now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Cheboygan for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. Petoskey will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-0.
