North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Lake Norman overwhelms Cannon

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Lake Norman Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a good 13-2 win over the Cannon Cougars.

The Wildcats (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the Greater Metro/Queen City contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, South Iredell was overwhelmed by Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 20-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA - Division I contest, on Thursday, May 1. Cannon will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 8-7 record after their 10-6 league loss to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC).
