The Independence lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Fauquier Falcons to 5 in the non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Potomac Falls for a Potomac outing on Friday, May 2. Independence will face a Panthers squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Fauquier falls to 4-7 on the year. The Falcons travel to Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, May 2. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Culpeper County lost 16-2 in their recent non-league outing against Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA)
