In Wednesday's non-league match, the Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) lacrosse team triumphed over the visiting Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA), by a tally of 12-4.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA) in a Cedar Run match, on Thursday, May 1. Gainesville will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 6-5 record after their 19-4 league win over Osbourn (Manassas, VA).
The Wildcats (5-7) will now prepare for their match against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines enter the Commonwealth match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, North Stafford was overwhelmed by Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA), 6-2, in a league match.
