In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Sayre Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 win over the Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans.

The Spartans (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Covington Catholic nipped Scott County (Georgetown, KY), 15-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Amazons & Titans meet the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 5. Louisville Collegiate will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY).
