In Wednesday's league test, the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL), by a count of 15-4.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) in a Central Suburban test, on Thursday, May 1. Maine South will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Giants enter the test with a 5-5 record after their 15-1 league loss to Evanston (Evanston, IL).
The Cougars (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Conant was overwhelmed by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 14-4, in a league test.
