New York High School Lacrosse - Minisink Valley overwhelms Newburgh Free Academy

The Minisink Valley Warriors lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks to 6 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Monroe-Woodbury for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. Minisink Valley will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-9 non-league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Newburgh Free Academy falls to 3-6 on the year. The Goldbacks travel to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Gladiators go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Goshen Central lost 19-9 in their recent league challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY)
