The Pinkerton Astros lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host Nashua South Purple Panthers to 1 in the Astros league triumph on Wednesday.

The Astros now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Longmeadow for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. Pinkerton will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Nashua South falls to 3-4 on the year. The Purple panthers host Merrimack (Merrimack, NH) to clash with the Tomahawks in a Division I challenge on Friday, May 2. The Tomahawks go into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
