In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Ocean Township Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 win over the Toms River South Indians.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Toms River North nipped Neptune (Neptune, NJ), 14-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Indians meet the Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) in a Shore A - South contest, on Friday, May 2. Toms River South will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 6-5 record after their 15-12 league loss to Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ).
