The Arlington Spy Ponders softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Melrose Red Raiders to 0 in the Spy Ponders league win on Wednesday.

The Spy Ponders now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watertown for a Middlesex battle on Thursday, May 1. Arlington will confront a Raiders team coming off a 26-0 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Melrose moves to 1-8 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Westport (Westport, MA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 4-4.
