New York High School Softball - Berne-Knox-Westerlo bounces Fort Plain

In Wednesday's league match, the host Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Fort Plain Hilltoppers.
The Bulldogs (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Schoharie (Schoharie, NY). The Storm come into the Section 2 Western - Southern match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Schoharie was routed by Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY), 9-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Southern match, on Friday, May 2. Fort Plain will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 29-1 league loss to Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY).
