The Eastern Vikings softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Wednesday.

The Vikings now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. Eastern will confront a Silver Knights team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ). The Silver Knights record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Bishop Eustace Prep moves to 0-7 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ) to confront the Eagles in a Olympic - National battle on Friday, May 2. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 10-3.
