The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) and the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), observed Bonny Eagle's softball team prevail over Portland by a tally of 16-1.

The Scots (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Mustangs go into the Class A South bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Massabesic was routed by Westbrook (Westbrook, ME), 20-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) in a Class A South bout, on Friday, May 2. Portland will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 9-5 league win over South Portland (South Portland, ME).
