The Butler Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Sussex County Tech to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elmwood Park for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. Butler will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Sussex County Tech moves to 7-8 on the season. The host Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-6.
