In Wednesday's league test, the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) softball squad got by the visiting Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Catholic Central will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Bison go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 6-5 league loss to Colonie Central (Albany, NY).

The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets go into the Section 2 Colonial test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, La Salle Institute was nudged by Schalmont (Schenectady, NY), 10-5, in a league test.
