The Cheverus Stags overwhelmed the visiting Noble Knights softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Stags meet the Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) in a Class A South challenge, on Saturday, May 3. Cheverus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Hawks go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 18-1 league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME).

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans go into the Class A South challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Thornton Academy toppled Scarborough (Scarborough, ME), 12-6, in a league challenge.
