Maryland High School Softball - Huntingtown Chopticon

The Huntingtown Hurricanes softball squad (Huntingtown, MD), was routed 5-0 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD)

With the triumph, Chopticon improves its record to 15-0 on the year. The Braves travel to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 14-3. St. Mary's Ryken won 5-1 in their recent league contest against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA)

The Hurricanes now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they host McDonough for a Southern Maryland contest on Thursday, May 1. Huntingtown will face a Rams squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Rams record now stands at 6-7.
