Indiana High School Softball - Cowan drops to Union County

April 30, 2025: Liberty, IN 47353

The Cowan Blackhawks softball squad (Muncie, IN), was routed 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN)

With the triumph, Union County improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-6. South Dearborn won 6-1 in their recent non-league contest against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)

The Blackhawks now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wapahani for a Mid-Eastern contest on Thursday, May 1. Cowan will face a Raiders squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.
