The Eastern Eagles softball team scored 28 runs and held the visiting Miller Falcons to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern for a Tri-Valley - Hocking battle on Friday, May 2. Eastern will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 12-0 league win over Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Miller moves to 3-10 on the season. The Falcons host Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH) to confront the Bishops in a Mid-State - Cardinal battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Bishops come into the battle with a record of 1-8.
