Delaware High School Softball - St. Elizabeth sneaks past First State Military Academy

In Wednesday's league match, the host St. Elizabeth Vikings softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the First State Military Academy Bulldogs.
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE). The Owls come into the non-league match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Odyssey Charter was nipped by Concord (Wilmington, DE), 17-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Delaware Military Academy Seahawks (Wilmington, DE) in a Diamond State match, on Friday, May 2. First State Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Seahawks enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 13-0 league win over Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE).
