Illinois High School Softball - Glenbard East bounces West Aurora

April 30, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) and the host West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), observed Glenbard East's softball team get by West Aurora by a tally of 7-2.

The Rams (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons go into the Upstate Eight bout with a 3-15 record. In their last bout, Elgin was routed by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 19-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blackhawks clash with the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Thursday, May 1. West Aurora will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 13-0 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
