In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints softball team scored a tight 5-0 win over the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators.
The Saints (14-4) will now prepare for their match against Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Isle of Wight Academy was routed by Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Gators battle the StoneBridge Cavaliers (Chesapeake, VA) in a Metropolitan match, on Thursday, May 1. Greenbrier Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 20-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 0-6 record after their 7-0 league loss to Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA).
