In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Newington Nor'easters softball team scored a nice 20-1 victory over the Hall Titans.

The Nor'easters (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Maloney gained a win over Avon (Avon, CT), 13-4, in a league match.

Next up, the Titans face the Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South contest, on Monday, May 5. Hall will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 8-2 record after their 18-6 league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT).
