The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) and the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), observed St. Joseph-Ogden's softball team notch a victory over Illinois Valley Central by a final score of 10-0.

The Spartans (18-7) will now prepare for their bout against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Centennial gained a win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL), 11-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Grey Ghosts battle the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 2. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Little Giants go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 4-3 league loss to Morton (Morton, IL).
