New York High School Softball - John Jay bounces Lincoln

The John Jay Wolves softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 1 in the Wolves non-league win on Wednesday.
The Wolves now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somers for a Section 1 II - C battle on Thursday, May 1. John Jay will encounter a Tuskers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to White Plains (White Plains, NY). The Tuskers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 4-5 on the season. The Railsplitters travel to Roosevelt (Brooklyn, NY) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 0-8.
