The South Decatur Cougars softball squad (Greensburg, IN), was routed 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN)

With the triumph, Knightstown improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Panthers host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 11-6. Connersville won 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Hauser (Hope, IN)

The Cougars now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waldron for a Mid-Hoosier contest on Thursday, May 1. South Decatur will face a Mohawks squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Crothersville (Crothersville, IN). The Mohawks record now stands at 0-3.
