The Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors (Sudbury, MA) softball routed the visiting Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), 5-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyngsborough for a non-league outing on Friday, May 2. Lincoln-Sudbury will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Newton South moves to 6-4 on the season. The Lions host Waltham (Waltham, MA) to encounter the Hawks in a Dual County Small outing on Monday, May 5. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 5-5. Waltham won 12-8 in their recent non-league outing against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA)
