Utah High School Softball - Pleasant Grove Maple Mountain

The Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) softball the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 9-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a 6A Region 3 outing on Friday, May 2. Pleasant Grove will encounter a Thunder team coming off a 16-1 league win over Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Maple Mountain moves to 16-7 on the season. The Golden eagles host Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT) to encounter the Aviators in a 5A Region 7 outing on Thursday, May 1. The Aviators come into the outing with a record of 14-10. Cedar Valley lost 16-8 in their recent league outing against Springville (Springville, UT)
