Next, the Lions meet the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Payne Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NJ).

The (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange (Orange, NJ). The Tornadoes go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Orange was routed by Linden (Linden, NJ), 19-9, in a non-league challenge.
