California High School Softball - South Gate sneaks past Ramona Convent

April 30, 2025: Alhambra, CA 91803

The South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) softball nipped the host Ramona Convent Tigers (Alhambra, CA), 8-7 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Rams now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntington Park for a Eastern outing on Wednesday, May 7. South Gate will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Legacy (South Gate, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Ramona Convent moves to 16-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a Camino Real outing on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 12-10. Bishop Conaty-Loretto lost 12-6 in their recent league outing against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA)
