New York High School Softball - Shenendehowa edges Saratoga Springs

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks.
The Plainsmen (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchmen come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Guilderland by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 16-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Blue Streaks battle the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Saratoga Springs will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 6-5 league win over Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY).
