The Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) baseball the host Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC), 10-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 15-8 record.
With the defeat, Berea drops to 4-20 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pelion (Pelion, SC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 1. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Pelion won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against River Bluff (Lexington, SC)
