Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 9-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Caesar Rodney advances its record to 12-2 on the season. The Riders host Smyrna (Smyrna, DE) to battle the Eagles in a Henlopen North match on Tuesday, May 5. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 7-3. Smyrna won 11-2 in their recent non-league match against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE)
The Wildcats now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sussex Academy for a Henlopen South match on Tuesday, May 5.
