The Greer Yellow Jackets edged the visiting Chapman Panthers softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Daniel Lions (Central, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, May 1. Greer will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Palmetto (Williamston, SC).
