Ohio High School Softball - Chippewa bounces Firestone

The Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) softball routed the visiting Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Chipps now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynedale for a Wayne County outing on Tuesday, May 5. Chippewa will encounter a Golden Bears team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Firestone moves to 7-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to Smithville (Smithville, OH) to encounter the Smithies in a non-league outing on Monday, May 4. The Smithies come into the outing with a record of 7-11. Smithville won 7-3 in their recent non-league outing against Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
