The Mt. Morris Panthers softball squad (Mt. Morris, MI), was routed 16-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI)

With the triumph, New Lothrop improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Hornets host Durand (Durand, MI) to meet the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan test on Monday, May 4. The Railroaders go into the test with a record of 5-5. Durand won 17-2 in their recent non-league test against Corunna (Corunna, MI)

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Marauders go into the Mid-Michigan test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Ovid-Elsie was routed by Williamston (Williamston, MI), 14-3, in a non-league test.
